Reputation.

Hey guys I activated the reputation option on the forum.

When reading a post you can go to the upper right hand side of the post and there is a + and - button. clicking + will give the poster 1 reputation point. Clicking - will take away 1 reputation point. There is also a Merci(Thanks) button at the lower right side that will give the poster 3 rep points.

Kinda tough to locate the way it is. I think in general when you are looking at the comments things may be a little too busy right now.

Also, one of the things I actually kind of liked about the old dark layout (I like this one better overall) was the contrast when you had embedded quotes, it made it easier to follow who said what. Right now it can get a little confusing if there are multiple quotes in there.

Overall though I think the site is looking great, and it looks like we've pretty much made the transition from the TT. Nice work Romo, and thanks.

Also, let me know if you want me to do anything. So far I've just been feeding back to you because I know you've been working it, but if you want me to play around with some of this stuff and try to save you some time let me know.

What is the points thing? Does it correspond with the reputation or is it something different?
Also, I can't see the merci button. Am I just blind? Or did it get removed?

I agree with Magnus about the embedded quotes...that is the only problem I have with this site...that it is kind of hard to tell which are quotes sometimes..

The points thing doesn't really do anything. It corresponds to the amount of post you make.

I'm working on changing the quote text. I'm having some trouble with it.

I agree. The forum is coming along nicely. It's been fun watching it change from day to day (sometimes hour to hour). I'll forever be able to say "I was there when it all began".

Yeah it's taking some time to get the bugs worked out. I'm happy everyone has stuck around while I was screwing around with it.
