Miss Jerry... so many dudes jackpotting around

Damn, that's a tough one.

I miss all three for different reason's.

Jerry was great.... a Legend, but maybe I miss him the least. Mostly because, despite the Spurs series, I believe in coach Ty.

AK47 is my favorite all time Jazz player not named Karl or John (and I'm not talking about Crotty).

Deron is the guy who, put on this Jazz team, would make the biggest difference.

So, who do I miss most??? AK ........ Who do I want back most??? Deron

Ugh, Hot Rod. Don't miss him AT ALL. And not because Boller & Matty are good, just cause Hot Rod was terrible IMO.

He got a little...tipsy, should we say, in his last few years...but I loved Hot Rod and his Hot Rod-isms.

I miss D Will's play, but not his attitude.

I miss AK 47 not Andrei Kirilenko.

AK was in my top 5 favorite Jazz players.

I don't use it very much. All you do is sign up search for who you want to follow. I pretty much only follow sports guys. It's pretty easy.

I voted Jerry, but not because I have negative thoughts about Ty. I just think Jerry Sloan did such an incredibly good job of maximizing the potential of the players on his teams. Every year Jerry was our coach we exceeded our expectations. On paper, even his (our) best teams were not a match for the league's powerhouse teams. But, year after year, for about 20 years, the Jazz teams performed better than what conventional wisdom predicted.

I'm very excited about the possibilities of having Ty coach our team (mostly because I think Ty embraces a lot of the same principals Jerry held close). And, frankly, I think Ty has a team much deeper than any team Jerry was given. But, Ty needs to make more out of more than Sloan made out of the Stockton to Malone-- and that's just about what most coaches in the league have failed to do in the history of the NBA. Sloan made the Jazz an elite team without high lottery draft picks or a big bank to buy a championship team. Ty has been given a team with higher draft-based expectations and nothing to show for it. Ty needs to make this team perform above expectations, which is what Sloan did for over 20 years. Expecting anyone to exceed expectations is, by definition, unexpected. Still, that's what we are "expecting" from Ty and the Jazz. Anyone want to sit back on Jazz history and be happy that we did better than expected for over 20 years?
