| It sounds like the Mav's are looking to sign Howard and want to make salary cap room so they can make a run at him and could be looking to trade their pick, not sure what they would want for it but they are not looking to add salary. So maybe the Jazz second round pick in this draft and the 2015 second round pick the Net's owe them would get it done, 3 first round pick in this draft could be big for the Jazz. | |

At first I didn't like this idea because three rookies plus whats-his-name that we drafted last year is far too many puppies in the dog house. But, those puppies are also trading chips, and I'll take another first rounder over two second round picks any day for that purpose! The Jazz have three obvious holes going into next year - a starting PG, a PG in-training and a big. They could use chips to help get the starting PG and then draft a PG and big. | |
