| Well that was a huge disappointment.
Wonder how many more times we will have to see box scores where all of the starters have negative +/- and all the bench guys positive before Corbin pulls his head out of his ass. And it's not like he doesn't see it either, hell, he's not even letting the starters back on the court in the 4th quarter, but his stupid stubborn head won't go all in for some reason.

On the contrary. How good is Corbin doing coaching this team to a winning record with tinsley/watson as the main PG's? Burks is getting more PT, but man, hes shaky sometimes at PG. Not that the others are not.

How long was Corbins contract again? I think it was 3 years. If he is pulling the same shit after next season, the Jazz need to make a change!

I think Corbin will be on a short leash next year, especially if they miss the playoffs, which I now suspect they will. Of course, Corbin won't be able to make miracles happen given the point guard situation for this team. Unless Burks can step up big time and really become an effective starting PG, or the Jazz somehow finagle a trade to grab a top-10 PG, it could get ugly. It would also be nice if the Jazz had a Paul Pierce type on the team...you know, a guy with ice in his veins who hits shots in the clutch, and who everyone in the stadium knows is going to take that last shot. If the Jazz had a Paul Pierce, I think they'd have five more wins than they currently do. Is there a Paul Pierce on this team?

| I'm much calmer now, and my fan-ness crazy irate screaming has died down. So I think that game, just like the Clippers game, forced Corbins eyes to see what IS, verses what he hopes can be. He cannot deny what the guys on this team ARE anymore, verses what he hopes they will be. DC rules, Marv doesn't. Burks rules, Earl doesn't.
First off, what a boneheaded move to start Earl. Truly, just a Bonehead. And I truly dont care that Marvin had his best game in months. It didn't make a bit of difference with Pierce, and DC did play better defense anyway. Pierce is just a great scorer.
BUT!!!! Most of the 3rd, pretty much all of the 4th and all of OT we saw Burks/Gordo/DC/Paul and Favors until he got that 5th foul. Its like Corbin finally said "Ok!! Fine, we'll play the young guys/hustle guys/guys that get it done on both ends" , instead of " lets get those Vets in there, we can depend on them". They looked really good. Problem was, that group was exposed. Specifically Burks was exposed as not quite ready to be that PG that could control the offense and get what we need. (or is this Corbins fault too?) The ball needed to be dumped down into Al in the 4th and OT to get a bucked on his own. And the Jazz were not able to get it in there. It was the only solution to the Celtics great defense, Al to do Al. And it didn't happen. Instead what happened was the Jazz (Corbin calling it?) forcing the pick and roll over and over, and Bradley and KG are two of the very best at defending a pick and roll. So the Jazz got smothered. Bad shots, shot clock violation type shots. It was ugly. I dont know if it was Corbin or not. But the Jazz desperately needed Al to go and get his against KG, and Al didn't get the ball.
Against other teams, that lineup would have been pretty successful I'd bet. Celtics smothered the pick and roll though, and Burks just didn't get it to Al the way we needed. That was exhibit A) on why we do love us some Burks, but last night Mo was needed.

It looked like the play call on the last few shots was to get it into Al and let him go one on one, but they dicked around trying to get him the ball until there was little to no time on the clock. It has happened a lot this season
