| Jazz by 7. Jazz bench.
I think a better question of the game would be who scores more points Jefferson or Cousins

I think a better question of the game would be who scores more points Jefferson or Cousins Take cousins in that one every time. if you think al is black hole, just watch cousins for a couple quarters, and if you want to know why the kings suck so bad right now that same couple quarters will give you your answer. I've got jazz by 20, jazz bench.

| I was at the game. It sucked how little the team seemed to care until the last few minutes. Made it really hard for the crowd to be into the game. But I was happy that Gordon got (and hit) the last shot.
Also, I know that Jimmer is still a big deal to a lot of people in Utah. He was amazing at BYU, but how do u cheer him so loud when he hits shots against the Jazz? I wanted to smack these two guys in front of me when they got so excited after Jimmer hit that three to put the Kings up 12 in the fourth quarter. At the time, it seemed like the nail in the coffin and here are these two douches, that were otherwise cheering for the Jazz, acting like their team just won the finals.
Anyway......
Jazz won by 2. Jazz had more bench scoring.

Jazz won by 2. Jazz had more bench scoring. Ya, almost worth letting him play for the Jazz just to stop that kind of nonsense. You know who should get that kind of reception? Damian Lillard. I mean, I new he was going to be good, and I really really wanted him to be on the Jazz, but he is exceeding even my high expectations. He's in Kyrie Irving/Derrick Rose territory right now, and is playing like he a veteran and not a 22 year old rookie. Anyways, also wanted to mention that even though it was a fairly ugly game, give some big props to the Jazz for fighting back and winning that one, the kings shot over 50% from the field AND the 3pt line but the Jazz still managed to beat them. Also wanted to give a special mention to what a incredibly well designed and executed play that last one where Hayward hit the game winner was. That is what well coached winning teams do, they don't just throw the ball in and hero ball it, they execute to get a good shot, so it was good to see the Jazz execute that play so well.

I'm not sure we've met, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not trying to be condescending with the "my friend" crap. In any case, it's fine by me: I wasn't aware that cutoff was at tipoff. Now I am, and I'll certainly abide by it.

The Jazz and the Utes share a lot of fans in common, apparently. If that is the case, I can understand why people would boo Jimmer regardless. (Hell, given the hatred that so many "U" fans have for BYU, they'd probably even boo him if he were in a Jazz uniform ...)

The rules are the rules, and if you don't accept any prognostications (that means guesses, for those of you who graduated from Tooele-area schools ) after tip, so be it. But if you stop and think about it, given the way the Jazz have played on the road this season, at the time I made my prediction anyone who had predicted before tip that the Jazz would win probably second-guessing that prediction. It's one thing to make a prediction when nobody knows the outcome; it's quite another to make a prediction that your team will win when everyone else has already written it off because the opposition has a sizeable late-game lead.

First of all.... I like the shot at Tooele.... I spent one horrible year there.... yuck. Second, I'm sure that it makes sense that predictions made after tip off, don't count. However, I'm a fair person who did not explain the deadline (which now is in the first post of the standings thread), so if you tell me that you had no idea what was going on in the Jazz game at 8:30pm, then I'll give you credit. If you were watching and made a late pick, then I can't allow it. I'm good with the honor system.... this game is not a big enough deal to call a fellow Jazz Nation member a liar.

| Don't worry about it. I'll just get my predictions in on time from now on. I'm sorry to hear that your memories of Tooele aren't fond ones. I grew up there, and I am fond of it ... although, come to think of it, my growing-up years here weren't all "peaches-and-cream": I was bullied quite a bit through elementary and some of junior high school because of a disability .... My junior high school principal threatened to see to it that two of my chief tormentors were subject to criminal charges, apparently word got around, and no one bothered me after that. (Amazing! ) | |
