That was horrible foul call on that three pointer. Had Randy picked it up and ran str8t into Paul he mite have got the foul call with a chance on the line rather than trying to fake shoot? I blame this one right there with the Ref on that one call!

| Dude of course the refs made some bad calls. They always do. For both teams. But the worst calls of them all tonight were those made by Corbin. Or weren't made by Corbin. | |

I dunno, I thought it was brilliant putting Carroll on Paul. And that phantom call on the 3 was a game changer, no if's and's or butt's.

And that phantom call on the 3 was a game changer, no if's and's or butt's. Ok, I've had a chance to cool down. I agree that putting Carroll on Paul was a good call. And I agree that the phantom foul on the three point shot was a dagger.....but I just don't feel like the jazz should have even been in the position to worry about that call. They had and blew an 11-12 point lead and all the while nothing was working offensively or defensively. Corbin let the lead disappear before calling a timeout. A great coach, like Pop, would have never let them get that kind of momentum. After 4-5 points in a row, call a damn timeout and stop the momentum and get your composure. That is my bigges gripe. I'll stop bitching now, because I'm like a white trash chick in an abusive relationship....no matter how much they hurt me...I will always love and defend the jazz.

| Not sure why burks got any time the way he played D and going 0-3 with no going to the hole? Trying to play Randys game and not his own. Bring his own game Drive Drive and then Drive some more. | |

| It's really frustrating to watch the Jazz play a very good game and piss it away at the end. It's gotten to the point this season, that you can skip the entire first half, because none of it matters, They make sure the game comes down to the final 5 mins regardless.
Despite what we all thought at the first of the season, Burks sucks and provides nothing on either end of the court. He should never see the court as long as Carroll is available. Milsap still looks like crap, Kanter scored 5 less points and 4 less boards in half the playing time! I'm really starting to think Sap isn't coming out of his funk this season.

| Ya, that was a tough loss in a game they should have won.
I thought Burks was ok defensively and he's definitley got the ability on both ends, it looks to me like he's just having a tough time working with the second unit, but he's not the only one in that boat either. That second unit as it stands now is REALLY struggling. The 5 man unit of Watson, Hayward, Burks, Evans, and Kanter has a +/- in the neighborhood of -25 over the last two games, and that is only in about 15 minutes of game time. Last night the second unit took the floor at the beginning of the 4th quarter up 10, the lead was 4 points when Millsap checked in with 9 minutes left in the game.
Without favors and Williams the Jazz are looking more like the Lakers than the super deep and balanced team we thought they were. It's also pretty obvious that it is the sum of parts and not the individuals as Kanter, Evans, Burks, and Hayward have all played fairly well individually and made very positive contributions with other units. The problem is that they just don't work well together and defensively they are terrible.
I watched the game last night, and I thought Millsap looked pretty good for the most part. In fact for the better part of the game I thought both Millsap and Jefferson were great. Jefferson was as active as I have ever seen him on both ends of the court, Millsap was taking the ball to the hole and hitting his mid range stuff, Mo Williams was setting them up and making some amazing passes, it was beautiful.
For the last 4 games Millsap has been consistently solid but not great, he's not "struggling" the way he was for 4 or 5 games there, but he's not kicking ass the way he was at the beginning of the season either.
Interesting stat of the day, Jefferson has lead the Jazz in shot attempts in 12 of the Jazz 19 games this season, the Jazz are 8-4 in those games.
Intersting stat of the day #2, Jeffersons Home Road splits...
Home 32.9 min, 50.0% fg, 84% ft, 19.1 pts, 11.1 reb, 2.1 ast, 1 blk, 1.5 stl, 1 TO Road 33.6 min, 45.2% fg, 72% ft, 15.3 pts, 10.2 reb, 1.8 ast, 1.3 blk, .8 stl, 2.6 TO
Interesting stat of the day #3, Jeffersons splits when the Jazz win, and when they lose...
Wins 34.2 min, 51.0% fg, 80% ft, 20.0 pts, 11.6 reb, 1.9 ast, 1 blk, 1.6 stl, 1.2 TO
Loses 32.5 min, 43.4% fg, 73% ft, 13.5 pts, 9.5 reb, 2.0 ast, 1.3 blk, .6 stl, 1.7 TO
Also interesting to note that Millsap, Hayward, and Mo Williams all actualy have played better offensively on the road than they have at home.
It looks to me like how goes Big Al, is how goes the Jazz.

| Thought the Jazz (Mo) did a good job early in the game in trying to go inside first before taking outside jumpers. Early in the second half they took a couple of three point attempts early on the clock and with nobody around the basket to rebound. That bugs me. | |
