Ty Co (former Utah Jazz coach 2011-2013) ought to give Burks plenty of minutes and tell him just to get in Darron's shorts on defense. Challenge him.

Best case, Darron misses a few and starts sulking.

Other best case, he gets pissed, tries to 'take over', and starts shooting every possession. Jazz can beat that. Darron isn't Kobe.

And I want to see Hayward with a chase down block on him. If Darron hits the stanchion too, that would be a right caution and no doubt about it!

Ditto Troll, came here to post Hayward needs to beat down Deron. After Williams tried to punk him the last yr he was here, Hayward needs to attack and be aggressive. I like Deron, but loyalty goes to current Jazzmen

Dropping the roof on him on that fast break was a nice start. Deron is looking much more like D-Will of old than he has since he left Utah, that crossover is still wicked.

Most folks still blame deron for Sloan retiring.
Deron also made some comments recently (today maybe?) in the N.Y. Post about wanting to win to "shut the Utah fans up". If they caught wind of that...then they probably figured the booing was getting under his skin and pressed forward.

Hayward was quiet offensively....but he played a heck of a defensive game and, once again, did a lot of the little things...some of which show up in stat sheets, some don't.

*ahem* I'm getting pretty good at this. Last 4 I've missed exact margin by 1, 4, 1, and 2 and got 3 of the 4 bonuses, missing Gordo's 3s by...1 last night. By my count that's 3 5pters and a 3 and 3 bonuses for a 27 pt week. /patting myself on the back

Gordon played great D all game. (Too bad that Mo's D is bad enough that he can't guard his own man.)

I love that Favors has been looking to rock the rim over the past few games.

Jefferson got his, but as usual, his D was wretched (see Lopez's state line).

Tin-man wasn't a negative, but I still don't see why he is on the floor instead of Burks.
