Which team blocks more shots?

dang, missed some easy points over last week ( was visiting Montana, Idaho and stopped at Spokane as well... to bad did not have time to go to Stockton's fathers tavern)...

Nuggets are crazy hot lately... don't see Jazz taking this one.

Man, this is another tough one to call.
But, I feel like the Jazz really need this one to make the playoffs. And they have been pretty focused on making the playoffs lately, so........I'm gonna say......

Looks like Lawson is out, which SHOULD help the Jazz.

Jazz put their moon boots on tonight for this game. Nuggets looking like Usain Bolt and thats with Ty larson out.

Odds just went way down for jazz making playoffs.

In a completely uninspired, who-gives-a-chit-about-the-playoffs effort, the Nuggies won by 17 & had more blocks.

So how come the Jazz have been so maddeningly inconsistent this season with the attitude part? We've seen this so many times before, even when they were in the process of losing to bad teams on the road that totally could have folded with a solid comeback effort, much less elite teams at home in must-win situations? A total absence of intensity. When the Nuggies went on that 8-0 run to open the third it looked like the Jazz players just deflated. Crappy body language, no extra hustle plays, no make-em-pay-not-in-my-house fouls. You just can't let Koufous out rebound you. You can't let 38-year old Andre Miller look like he is 24. Been saying it all season long, the Jazz have a weird team psychology.

The players have to have some pride, but isn't it the coaches job to make in-game adjustments that help the team? If the ol' starting five is looking like they had a few too many beers at half time, they should be pulled out & shown how to put in the effort by the second (or third) unit. Playing uninspired & with a ho-hum attitude has no reprecussions on this team. Ty will play those same guys, no matter how lack-luster their performance. If Mo wants to let Miller drive by him 6 times, Ty may call a time out (an improvement from the beginning of the year), but then he runs Mo back out there, instead of making the necessary change. ..... no accountability. It's like a waiter who knows he's getting that automatic 20% tip. He is much less likely to put in a "20% tip effort" than if the gratuity isn't guaranteed. Without the auto-tip, he has to put on his happy face & work his ass off in hopes of making that same tip because there is accountability.
