| I've been seeing several of the Jazz players talking about volutarily reporting to Camp early, I believe starting this week, to get work in with the Jazz staff. I know Marvin Williams and Enes Kanter said that was their plan. Here's a couple more links I found... There a nice video of Favors working out at P3 on Labor day on the P3 facebook page, he's looking good... https://www.facebook.com/PeakPerformanceProjecthttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=509044612458312Here's another Kanter article, complete with more rediculous pictures... http://www.ksl.com/?sid=22086332&nid=304Thought this quote from the article was interesting... - P3 wrote:
Tuesday: Just finished taking Utah Jazz big man Enes Kanter through his initial assessment at P3. Enes is an absolute beast, and at age 20 already one of the strongest NBA players that we have tested. His lower extremity bilateral force characteristics are very symmetrical in dynamic movement....Enes takes too long to reach peak force and needs to improve his hip extension, lower extremity power/acceleration and eccentric adaptation. He also reaches instead of drives when accelerating in all planes. We are very confident that we can improve these qualities, and enable Enes to become a much more explosive athlete on the basketball court."
Good news for those of us with concerns about his explosiveness. I think this quote was from the begining of summer, and I must say I did notice some improvement in summer league.

That was one of the things last year I was really hopeful for. And I agree, his quick moves around the basket were quicker in Summer League. If he can improve his quick fire muscle stuff, get explosive, thats a scary guy to try and deal with for the D. One of the strongest guys ever tested, at 20??? Wow. Love this kid.

| This may be the last entry in this thread. It looks like most of the Jazz players have returned to Utah and have begun working out together. Training camp doesn't start for two weeks, so these workouts are "voluntary", but I've seen a couple of comments from players that referred to them as "practice", so it would appear that they are taking it pretty seriously.
I'm excited for this season.
Camps starts officially October 1st
Preseason starts October 8th @ GSW
Regular Season stars October 31st @ home against Dallas
