| A place to post about all the trades and signing going on around the league. Let's see... Kidd is headed to New York. The Knicks don't need a PG who has any interest in shooting, so this might actually work. The Rockets traded Lowry for a couple cheeseburgers, let Dragic walk to the Suns and then offered J.Lin a big contract. Lin is a nice player, but this seems like the Rockets giving up on two good PG's simply to appease their Yao Ming fan base. But the Knicks will probably match, leaving the Rockets with nothing. The Suns signed M.Beasley. We've discussed Nash to LA in another thread. And now G.Hill wants to follow him to the newly annointed LosAngeles Dinosaurs. The Clippers gave Mo Williams' spot to J.Crawford and resigned Billups. The Heat are trying to land R.Allen, who was recently replaced in Boston by J.Terry. The Mav's are chasing Sessions after striking out on D-Will and Kidd, and losing Terry. Recently retired B.Roy will attempt a comeback with the TWolves, who also are chasing RFA N.Batum. J.Nelson re-uped with Orlando. E.Gordon signed a huge contract to go to PHO .... the Hornets haven't matched (yet). Oh, and in the biggest news of the week. The Thunder nabbed former #2 overall pick in the draft... Thabeet!

| Just read that the Sixers plan to amnesty Brand.
Hmmm.... hello Heat or Celtics?
Sixers are also signing Nick Young.

| Well...Nash-to-LA might actually work, kinda depends on having a kinder, gentler MJ-Wannabe at the 2. I don't see it happening. Nash's problem isn't his legs, he still runs great (always has...soccer background seems to leave a permanent upgrade), but his back, which does not really "get better" with age. He will certainly help them with shooting, though, as long as he's healthy enough to take the court.
The Kidd/Lin backcourt does not solve all the Knicks' problems. Amare is falling apart rapidly, Shumpert/JR at the wings and well, Melo. Lin isn't a good fit with those players...but then, who would be? If ever a team might as well just get a "What 'other players on my team' ??" PG like Iverson or Westbrook or Stuckey, it's the Knicks. However much he tries, Lin being a smart, disciplined PG adds nothing to this team...so he's being matched for what?...marketing?? Brilliant.
Houston is going for the #1 pick next year, it seems. Otherwise, how could you get nothing for Dragic/Lowry? Lotta cap space coming up, but ouch! Gonna be an ugly year this year.
How can Dallas strike out three times AND hit into a double play in the same inning? Blowing up the defending champs looked bad last summer, and still does.
At least J.Crawford is a real 2 guard. And they got Billups for about 5 mill. Not bad.
Props to the pesky Timberwolves for Trailblazering the Trailblazers lol. Squeeeeze those bastards!! If they DID get Hibbert they'd be locked in to that roster for the forseeable future. And they'd be pretty good, but not exactly over he hump...
I thought the Hornets did match Gordon's offer??

It appears that they plan to, but it's not a done deal. Gordon isn't happy about it though. Did he not realize he was a RESTRICTED free agent?
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/eric-gordon-really-wants-play-phoenix-tries-scare-232339869--nba.html Heh. This was bound to happen. There's only so many spots on the league's favored few "contenders". And money aside, Gordo, this is how you find out you're a second-tier "star"-the other "stars" aren't lobbying to get you on their team. Pretty jumper, man, but maybe you should, you know, do something before thinking you can name your team. Because, reality.

| Rashard Lewis will sign a two year deal for the vet minimum $1.35 million with the Heat. After making over $100 million on his last contract, I'm guessinng money wan't an issue.
D.Wright is headed fom the Warriors to the Sixers for a Euro player. Make way for Harrison Barnes.
Those are two players being moved for peanuts.

Those are two players being moved for peanuts. Dorrell Wright was one SF I was kind of hoping Utah was looking at. Really good 3pt shooter and good defender too. I just hope it doesn't end up with KOC thinking bringing Ronnie Brewer back would be "boon" for all of Utah....

I would hope that the Jazz would look at adding a big for injure reason's before they would look at bringing Brewer back, I like the guy but there just is not a place for him on this team it would take away from both Hayward and Burks.

| Andray Blatche is likely to get the boot via amnesty if the Wizards can't find a trade partner. He's an interesting player. He's talented, but is a bit of a head-case. Not a Jazz-type, but I'm sure someone will pick him up if he's amnestied. | |

| Lopsided trade here:
D.Collison and D.Jones go to Dallas for I.Mahinmi.
Dallas made out well in this one. Pacers are looking to bring in Augustin, but still seems like a bad deal.
The Mav's alo planning on using amnesty on B.Haywood in order to sign C.Kaman.
Oh, and the Nets are signing Jerry Stackhouse for some unknown reason.

| J.Jack signed with the Warriors. In their post-tanking-offseason, they've added Harrison Barnes and Jack, while losing Wright. Should be better than last year. | |

Yeah, but probably not much better. They should be just good enough to ensure we get their pick next draft though.

Oh, and the Nets are signing Jerry Stackhouse for some unknown reason. Dallas is doing a very good job at retooling their team IMO Kaman is a mush underrated player I think he is top 5 or 6 center or about's in the league without trying to count them, Collison has shown when given big minutes he can produce and D Jones can get things done at both end's of the floor if given playing time he can also put numbers on the board. I really like what the Mavs have been able to do after losing out on DWill and other's.

Yeah, but probably not much better. They should be just good enough to ensure we get their pick next draft though. Jack is another guy that is underrated when ever he get's playing time he is able to put up big numbers in assits, ppg and all of those other things PG's bring to a team, the kid has got game no doubt about it.
