Bonus: Which team has the better assist/turnover ratio?

The last time the Jazz needed one big time, they lost by 40 to Houston! We need this one. We better do it this time. Jazz by 14. GS with the better ratio, though.

| Great game all around by the Jazz tonight.
I hated that DC didn't get any minutes, but I loved what I saw from Burks, and I loved the lineup that Corbin closed the game with, Burks/Foye/Hayward/Millsap/Jefferson is a really nice group and they play well together.

Jazz by 14. GS with the better ratio, though. It was 45 and we were missing Gordo who i think would've been huge on Harden in that game. jazz looking pretty darn good but i think they still have more room to improve. Just not sure we need to move guys to move guys? would rather have the money free than unwanted players, Shout out to Marv W for a much better game and we need him playing hard and getting a few points.

Definitely agree there, Marvin looked much better tonight, and we will need that out of him going forward. I'd like to see him step up in one of these games where the Jazz are struggling to get it going through Al and Paul, he can do it, but I guess it's just babysteps right now...

Marv looked a tad more aggressive, a tad. But man, one thing I've been meaning to bring up, is his rebounding. Like tonight, a 6'9 Small Forward gets ONE rebound? Come on man....another huge difference in he and DC. I'm hoping Marv is moved along with Raja to LA, we really dont need him. Great game though, my man Gordo was smooooooooooth, Burks looked great and comfortable. Little tweak to the team, and we keep it movin.

Jazz by 14. GS with the better ratio, though. Haaahaha!! How often does a guy pick the winning team, and the exact margin, and finish a distant second??? I not only got the Jazz by 14, AND got the Jazz having the better a/to ratio, but I got Gordo's minutes played right on the nut, too!! I think this proves something, but it isn't about my basketball acumen...more like a confirmation of that thing about an infinite number of monkies with typewriters....

| Jazz win by 14 & also have the better a/t ratio.
It was fun sitting so close that I could hear the players talking to eachother & the coaches yelling instructions. When I win the lottery, I'm so getting season tickets close to the court!

| We've got to talk a little more about the play of our young guys last night, they were awesome. Burks, Hayward, and Favors poured in 44 points on 24 shots and looked completely in control all night.
Kanter didn't hit any shots in this one but I thought he still played well. He's a bull down low, and he and Favors fouled out Biedrins in 15 mintues.
But the thing that impressed me most was a play that could ahve easily been missed. It was the 4th quarter, the Warriors were making a run, and Curry was going off. He had just hit two transition three's and the Warriors hit him on an outlet for another. Kanter was the only guy back and instead of doing what big men instinctively do, which is run back to the rim and guard the first guy that comes into the paint, he saw that it was Curry, stopped before he got to the paint, and jumped out to guard him at the 3 point line, the result was a rare miss from Curry at a critical point in the game.
That is just a really heads up play for a young guy, and I think it demonstrates something that was a concern for me and a lot of other people, Kanters ability to think the game. It's a subtle thing that we often take for granted, and I think the way Kanter is developing and the plays he is making are demonstrating that he has a good head for the game, and when it comes to a young player that is probably the best news a Jazz fan can have at this point.

Good point Magnus, as for Burks I thought it was one of, if not his best game. He looked in control, did not hesitate with jumpers, and with the shot clock running down, drove to the basket when needed, for some great finishes. As for Kanter, this goes along with something I've liked from him since last year. Though he still does not get the benefit of the doubt from the refs, since he's so young, he's a guy that plays really really good defense with bigs and others who are driving to the basket. He rarely reaches in, if ever, but consistently gets his big body up in them, arms fully extended and straight up. He isn't making silly fouls, but makes sure he gets his big ass in the way of who is coming. Its extremely solid from such a baby player, and will only get better.
