2012 NBA draft

I guess the draft is already set and the Jazz don't get a 1st round pick this year the draft is on the 28th and I have not heard of them getting a pick from any other team, I was thinking that they still had to have a lottery to determine where everyone would pick and the Jazz still had a chance at getting the golden state pick but looks like I was wrong.

The lottery is May 30th.
Draft is June 28th.

Still a chance we end up with GSW's pick.

Don't worry don, the lottery isn't set yet. The ping pong balls haven't been drawn, so there is still about a 1-in-4 chance that they end up with that GS pick.

I could be wrong as well. But I thought the lottery ball shuffle, which I think decides the top three teams, was after the season ended and the Championship decided. I too was hoping, in spite of the low probability of it happening, maybe one of the team's, currently ranked higher than 7, ball got drawn pushing the GS Pick back to us.

Anybody know for sure if the lottery ball drop has already taken place?

I hate it when my slow typing makes my post obsolete before I even get it posted. Thanks for the answer.

1 in 4 chance seems to be right, though I like to think of it is all we need is 1 of the 7 lower teams to jump up, moving Golden State back just one spot. Thats allllllllllllll we need........
