| Next up, are the Spurs unbeatable? It is not really about x's and o's, but just some silly silly stats. I wrote this, and just kept on laughing at these numbers. I have been wondering if they are historically good, and all of these numbers say so. | |

I meant to make it "historically" good. I would be shocked it the Spurs didn't win the title without much drama. I think the only team that is going to be able to compete with them is the Thunder. If they get past the Thunder which I fully expect them to do, the are gonna steam roll which ever team comes out of the east. I know we were all pissed about how easy the Spurs plowed through the Jazz. I think it tell more about the state of the Spurs than the Jazz. Even the 95-96 Bulls weren't so methodical in their winning.

On another note, it looks like an extra challenge to write these articles during the first week of July, given that the NBA landscape is changing by the hour.

Why the Bulls are making a big mistake this offseason. Not to mention the fact that Rose my never be the same player he was before the injury. His skill set is based on quick cuts and quick stop and hop moves. He is never going to have the quickness that he had before. The Bulls are making some pretty stupid moves IMO. They are taking a big step back when other teams in their conference are getting better. The fact is they screwed the pooch signing Boozer and now they are stuck with him. Yeah they can amnesty him, but they don't have anyone on the roster to take his place. Players aren't clamoring to go to the Bull like they are the Heat and Nets. I don't see the Bulls being a serious contender anymore and probably won't be for a very long time. They peaked already and are going downhill now.

If Gibson was a starter, I think he is in the late teens in terms of rank. I think he gets about 8 mil this next offseason. The whole thing reminds me of millsap and boozer.

I said they can use it next year, if they want to keep gibson. I see no other way to keep gibson, and not go deep into luxury though. He gets 8 mil per year, and thats 43 million at 2 spots, and none can play the 3. That is the definition of cap suicide.

Let's be honest. Can you name me 10 better PF's? Yes, he is overpayed, and I dont like him either, but that does not change the fact he is a good starting PF.

I won't take the the time to list the 10 PF's better than Booze by stats because this isn't a stats discussion, and based on simply that the Jazz have 2 better PF's than Boozer alone is testimony (Al, center in name only and Sap, plus I think Favors will quickly surpass Booz) . It is heart of a winner discussion, and Booz has an uncanny ability to not be a winner. You can't find a Chicago fan who is remotely happy about Boozers contribution to team wins given his salary. His D blows too for a guy of his size and talent. The guy burns bridges wherever he goes because he is not a team player who plays, in crunch time, up to his salary. At $8-10 million a year OK, he looks good, but he is seriously overpaid given his ability to disappear whenever it really counts in real game time.

| Here is the Leastern Conference top 4 teams IMO. http://crankuptheheat.net/top-4-teams-in-the-east/Here are my top 4 teams in the Bestern Confernce. (Pun intended on both ends.) Editor's note, I submitted this before the Chris Duhon/Josh McRoberts trade went down. I have an analysis of that trade coming soon.
